Railway Traction Motors and Generators:

We have in house capability for die casting of Aluminium bronze. We also make casting in Brass and Gun Metal. We also produce items through Shell molding, Sand castings, Die-casting and Forging.

We have extensive precision machining including broaching and testing facilities. We have extensive tooling, jigs and fixtures which enable us to maintain full control over our product quality.

Brush pockets are broached. Springs are manufactured out of specially rolled spring steel strips. Springs are checked for torque values at varying deflections.

ARCO is well established in the field of design / development / manufacture and supply of traction equipment over four decades and has been meeting requirement of Indian Railways for rolling stock, spares and assemblies. We have been exporting our products to Europe/USA.

ARCO along with other associates and principals has developed full capability for undertaking design, manufacture, supply of various Traction Components and Assemblies.

It has all along been the endeavor of the ARCO GROUP to serve the Traction Industry by developing and perfecting high technology components for traction equipment.

We also make complete Rocker Ring Assemblis with multiple insulator and brush holders mounted and aligned.
